This vision places the chat-bots to today’s Internet was outlined before, but Microsoft wants to give everyone the tools to create these robots.

The “brain” for these bots provided by Microsoft will serve as a “cognitive micro-services” — small portions packaged intelligence that will enable robots to understand human language. The base of the platform are old and new developments of Microsoft. It is reported that the number of APIs available for developers increased from 5 to 22. They will all be available for free.

Actually, Skype Cortana will always know the user needs, find the right bots, and then remove them from your contact list. Aside from chat bots Skype will also receive a so-called videobot.
